This is a list of books that I intend to read when I get some time.
- Ayn Rand: "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Fountainhead". Some people say that these books are the foundations of objectivism. I don't remember anymore where I learned about them, I just remember that I was intrigued enough to put them on my TODO list.
- J. Franzen: The Corrections. Described by some as "must read" of modern literature.
- L. Niven: Ringworld. One of the most famous SF novels.
- Tolkien: Silmarilion. Described as one of the more "obscure" of Tolkiens works. Describes a world before the one in LOTR.
- Greg Egan: Permutation City
- Sigurd Hoel: Arvestålet
Reccomendations from friends:
- Thomas Kuhn: The Structure of Scientific Revolutions.
- Neal Stephenson: Snow Crash. Recommended by a friend.
- Daniel C. Dennett: Consciousness Explained
